Who we are?

We are «MARRAS BROS FLOUR MILLS SA», a Greek company headquartered in Corinth, at the 90th kilometer of the old National Road from Patras to Corinth, next to one of the two harbors of Ancient Corinth, Lechaio.

We are one of the oldest Greek companies that constantly evolves and adapts to the new needs arising in the field of flour milling. We have been active since 1928.

What do we collect?

2.1. Name / Company Name.

We collect the names (first name, last name) and the company names of our customers and the names of the contact persons of our customers when they express their interest in our services or register for our newsletter or participate in our contests and promotions.


2.2. Email address.

We collect the email address of our customers and the contact persons of our customers when they express their interest in our services or when they subscribe to our newsletter or participate in our contests and promotions.


2.3. Mailing address.

We collect the residential or business address of our customers for billing purposes.


2.4. Other contact details.

We collect other contact details, such as the telephone number of our customers or the communication persons of our customers, to provide better and faster delivery of our products and services.


2.5. Billing information.

We collect the information of our customers necessary for the invoicing of our services, such as the VAT number and the name of the Tax Office.

How do we use it?

We use your personal data for the following purposes:


4.1. Customer service. With the aim of producing and marketing flours, we have a well-organized sales network to serve our customers.
4.2. Marketing and/or promotional actions, such as participating in contests or emails we periodically send to those who have registered for our newsletter.

How do we collect?

We collect your personal data when you express your interest in our products and services and communicate with us, when we enter into a contractual relationship to provide our products and services when you visit our website and fill out the contact form.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone and share it only with third parties who facilitate the provision of our services to you.

Legal Basis of Processing.

5.1. The processing of your personal data for the provision of our services to you is based on the conclusion and execution of a contract or, upon your request, on preparatory actions for the conclusion and execution of a contract.


5.2. The processing of your personal data for marketing and/or promotional purposes is based on your consent.


5.3. In certain cases, the processing of your personal data is necessary for our legitimate interests or for compliance with national and/or European legislation.

Retention Period.

6.1. We retain your personal data for the duration of our contractual relationship. We keep the personal data of our customers and consumers for at least fifteen (15) years to fulfill our obligation to maintain accurate records for tax or other administrative authorities.


6.2. We retain the personal data of individuals who have subscribed to newsletters (and/or our promotional activities) until they inform us that they no longer wish to receive newsletters or/and promotional material.

Who we are?

In the context of our activities, companies of our interest may have access to your personal data. Additionally, we use third-party providers who provide services on our behalf.

Thus, we may need to share your personal data with them. However, we only share with them the personal data that is necessary for them to provide the services we request, and we require them to protect your data and not use it for other purposes.

The personal data we collect from you is stored in one or more databases hosted by third parties located within the European Union.

These third parties do not use or have access to your personal data for any purpose other than storage and retrieval in the cloud.

Such providers include external organizations for predicting future transactional behavior and assessing creditworthiness, aiming to protect economic credit and reduce uncertainties.

As part of the conclusion of contracts with potential customers, during the execution of these contracts, and in general, during our business activities to protect economic credit and reduce uncertainties, we transmit customer data to TEIRESIAS

To safeguard our legal interests and ensure the protection of economic credit, the prevention of financial crimes, and the reliability and security of transactions, we transfer the data of our customers (not consumers) to Credit Rating Agencies, such as ICAP GROUP Anonymous Company (ICAP). In the context of ICAP's legal interests and for the same purposes mentioned above, ICAP maintains a file («ICAP Database») with data on economic and transactional behavior collected from legal sources (courts, land registries, G.E.MI.).
